thoughts on Abby Sunderland's story

Our thoughts on Abby's trip all around the world

We disagree on making a 16-year-old sailor go on a voyage that could make a very risky trip. Such as storms,or any natural causes. As to make this "voyage" all around the world is going to be not easy. Its life and we don't know what will happen.⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵

🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊On the other hand we still think that parents should support their child's dreams, but helping them while there still under aged is a different matter. If this gets younger people to think that they could do such a thing, will make a high risk of making those people get hurt.

  1. We agree with what your team has to say because Abby shouldn't have sailed alone but at the same time its a good thing that she pursued her dream/goal. We also agree that parent's should support their child's dream because some kids might be underaged. We think that Abby shouldn't have sailed at a young age and that she should've sailed with someone by her side or at an older age with someone that's experianced.

    1. Thank you for understanding our opinion that Abby shouldn't sail in such young age that could lead to higher risk.

  2. we disagree with your teams statement because if a child wants to do what makes them happy then they should do it. Also by following the parents approval. it doesn't matter what age they are, all kids should still be able to fulfill their dreams. Therefore, all parents should at least try to make their kids happy by supporting them. Finally, we as a person should at least try to support or make them happy in the best way possible.

  3. We agree that although parents should support their children's dreams, we think that voyaging around the world is risky and dangerous. We also agree because Abby may be a trained sailor, but she has never sailed solo around the world before. We agree also because she was to young to voyage solo around the world.

    1. Yes we also agree that parents should support their children's dreams. Although the point of being alone for several weeks or months.

  4. We agree because she is to young to sail around the world. It is to dangerous for a 16 year old to sail around the world alone because if she gets in trouble she will have a hard time finding for help. It is also dangerous because the storm damaged her ship already and she could have been stranded there.

  5. we are not the boss of others. We should let them do whatever they want because sooner or later they are going to findd out about the consequences.
